Summer Learning Series is a professional learning community for school and district leaders committed to developing high-quality, school-based summer programs. SLS begins with a face-to-face, full-day orientation session on October 3rd, 2022 that dives deep into the national research about what works in the summer space and continues with monthly, hour-long, virtual sessions that walk practitioners through the process of planning for Summer 2023. The process concludes with a face-to-face, full-day wrap-up session on March 29, 2023. Professional learning materials, including Summer Starts in September are included, as are breakfast and lunch at both face-to-face sessions.

Professional Learning Credit

All registered participants who attend at least 5 sessions and who complete the required learning activities and assignments will be awarded a state-approved professional learning unit (pending state approval, expected before the start of the series).

Cost
